Bad weather, rainfall disrupts flights


The incessant rainfall that results to bad weather disrupts domestic flights across the country.
The monsoon downpour in different parts of the country on Monday disrupted the schedule of several domestic flights.
As said by Tribhuvan International Airport, flights to Lukla, Pokhara, Bharatpur, Biratnagar, , Simara, Tumlingtar, among others from Kathmandu have been disrupted.
Prime Minister Dr Baburam Bhattarai, who was leaving for Pokhara on Monday morning also waited for a while at TIA due to bad weather.
He left for Pokhara via Buddha Air.
As said by TIA, some flights have been delayed while others were cancelled due to the weather condition.
Flights were made viewing the weather condition, the TIA informed.
Meanwhile, the schedule of international flights have not been disrupted so far.
