Goma airplane crashes at Juphal airstrip in Dolpa , no casualties


An aircraft of  Goma Air lines crashed at Juphal Airstrip in Dolpa district on Sunday morning. No human casualties were reported in the crash.

The 9N AJU aircraft sustained minor damage after the front wheel exploded while landing at the airport at 10 am today. There were only two crew members, Sanjiv Shrestha and Prajjwal Bhattarai, in the aircraft. The aircraft was carrying cargo to Dolpa district from Nepalgunj.

The airport has been closed as the damaged aircraft remains on the runway after the crash.
