Trip overview

On this jungle trek and zipline combo you will start your day with an adventurous 3 hour hike in a lush rainforest and walk through two hilltribe villages before finishing your walk at beautiful waterfall where you can soak your feet after your hike. In the afternoon you will see the forest from a new perspective at Eagle Track Zipline where you will fly through the jungle canopy and over terraced rice fields on their safe but exciting zipline course. This is an exciting combination of hiking and zip lining, through northern Thailand’s rugged landscape!

Itinerary

08.00 Meeting at your Chiang Mai hotel and transfer to the Mae Sa valley region. (Vehicle transfer about one hour).
09.00 Arrive at our trek starting point, and start a beautiful nature walk, through some pristine forest. Get introduce to two different hill tribe villages, with their own customs, guided by your own experienced trekking guide. Your guide will share it’s knowledge of the area and explain the customs of the village life in Northern Thailand. The trek ends up at a stunning waterfall where you can soak your feet or just relax.
12.30 Buffet lunch at the Eagle Track’s restaurant.
13.45 Start our Canopy Adventure and fly through zip lines from the platform suspended high up in the trees, with spectacular views of jungle and paddy fields, and along the Mae Raem river below.
16.00 End of the zip line and transfer to Mae Sa valley where we can have a quick visit of the “orchid farm”, before our drive back to Chiang Mai, and drop off at your hotel (17.00).

Fitness Level: Suitable for participants in good fitness condition!
What to bring on this day trip
For the trekking part, you will need a day pack. It should be filled with useful items for the day as suncream, sunglasses, a hat or cap, camera and personal stuff. Please bring a good hiking pack that fits well.
Footwear: hiking shoes with hard soles.
Please wear a sport outfit and long sleeve shirt is recommended for the zip line experience. Shorts or long pants as you prefer. Bring a raincoat during the raining season and a fleece in cool season.
Season
This trip is operated all year long, and each season is a different experience.
Best (coolest) season is from October to end of February.
During raining season from June to September the nature is beautiful lush green.
March and April are usually very hot and dry months.
