Kanchanaburi in Thailand

Kanchanaburi is one of Thailand’s largest provinces, but one of the least populated. Boasting massive expanses of tropical forest, Kanchanaburi is steeped in history and is home to a range of culturally diverse groups. While the province’s famous Bridge over the River Kwai is visited by thousands of tourists each year, much of Kanchanaburi is untouched by the hand of tourism and offers some great experiences for the inquisitive traveller.

Day1: Depart your bangkok hotel sharp at 0800am for the 2 hours drive to Kanchanaburi. Stop at the war cemetery before heading to Death railway museum.After collecting some useful informations drive to  a Thai restaurant for lunch. After Lunch head to Nongkhao Village where you will explore the agriculture part, meet the locals, buy their products if you want.There are rice farming and also production of Thai cloths. You can also participate the farming activities with the local people. Drive to river kwai bridge and have your dinner in a  riverside restaurant.Back to your resort around 2000pm.

Overnight: Royal  River Kwai resort (3 star)

Day 2: have your breakfast early morning and drive to Hell fire pass which was built during second world war, collect informations and drive to sankla buri, stop en route at some temples and attractions also have your lunch in a restaurant. Reach the three pagoda pass , meet the local villagers and then go to the local market where you will find variety of handmade items, fruits, vegetables etc. The area is at the Burma border. You will get attracted to the natural beauty away from the crowd.Reach your lakeside resort for dinner  and overnight.

Overnight: Samprasob Resort ( 3 star)

Day 3: After breakfast visit the Karen village and at a short distance start the elephant trek towards the mountain passing through the villages. Around 1030 start driving back. Visit some attractions en route to the pier where you will take ferry crossing the lake. Reach the shore and start driving to 

hill tribe village where you will spend a night with the villagers.There are villagers house up in the mountain. Enjoy your dinner followed by the traditional hill tribe dances performed by the group of 8-10 children. Free to get freshen up and get to bed. 

Overnight: Village home stay ( No A.C. )

Meals included: Breakfast, lunch & Dinner


Day 4: Have your breakfast early morning and go out to explore the village, see the villagers life style and what they do for their livings. Their language are totally different from original Thai language. Start driving to Sai Yoke noi district , where you will be taken to Poor children home. There are 57 children looked after by the community, some are left by their parents and some don’t have parents .You can spend time taking pictures, sharing your time with them.You are free to donate clothes or any items that you don’t use anymore to the children there. If you want you can host lunch or dinner for the children and serve them by yourself with the help of local staff.  Start driving towards the town . Reach the town and transfer to your bangkok hotel. End of our services.
