97% of residential units in waterfront development sold

SINGAPORE: Punggol’s first integrated waterfront residential and retail development — Watertown — has sold almost 97 per cent of the residences within the 992—unit development.
Jointly developed by Far East Organization and Sekisui House at a cost of over S$1.6 billion, Watertown is the largest private development in Punggol Central.
The entire Watertown development will integrate residences, a comprehensive public transport network and a shopping mall — Waterway Point.
In a statement, it was revealed that NTUC’s FairPrice Finest supermarket and Shaw Theatres will anchor a 24—hour basement level at Waterway Point.
The mall is expected to be completed by 2015, while the residential units are scheduled for completion in 2017.
