Ghandruk Pothana Trekking is designed as short village hiking trail in the Annapurna area ,lies Western part of Nepal. It is inhabited of ethnic Gurung people at Ghandruk village.Gurung is well known for British Army who still serve in Britain.
One hour drive to Naya Pul from pokhara ,trekking trail starts from Naya Pul along the Modi khola river to Syalibazar and ascend two hours to gurung village of Ghandruk.Along the trail you will see several ethnic groups, such as Brahmin, Magar and Gurung.The gurung villages of unique settlements are also eye catching.It offers to see you gurung people daily lifestyles and closely spectular mountain view of fishtail,hiunchuli ,gangapurna,lamung himal and annapurna south.
Walking through the village,we see Magar and Gurung ethnic group unique cultures and lifestyles . You are going to have the opportunity of talking to the native residents along the way who are known for their hospitality and warmth. It is one-of-a-kind experience to be one of them for a while and rejoice their hospitality.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1300m.).

Day 02: Kathmandu valley sightseeing tour.
Half day Kathmandu valley sightseeing tour of three places: Kathmandu: Swayambu Nath Stupa, famous hindu Temple of Pashupatinath and buddhist pilgrims of Bouddhanath Stupa , Overnight at hotel.

Day 03 : Kathmandu to Pokhara (914m.).

Day 05 : Ghandruk to Pothana.
Day 06 : Pothana to Pokhara.
Walk 2 hours descend to Pokhara.
Day 07 : Pokhara to Kathmandu.
Day 08 : Final Departure from Kathamndu.
