The main religions of  Kathmandu are Hinduism and Buddhism.  Pahacharhe is one of the most important festival in Kathmandu valley. It is also known as Shree Lumadhi Bhadrakali jatra. It is located  near the Shahid Gate, at the eastern corner of Tundikhel. The temple is dedicated to goddess Bhadrakali, a Supreme Deity whose name in Sanskrit means "blessed, auspicious, beautiful, prosperous". This temple is considered to be one of the most renowned "Shakti" temples of Kathmandu.


People worship to protector goddesses of Lumadhi Ajima, Watu Ajima and Kanga Ajima on the three-day. Nyatamaru Ajima goddesses Jatra observed during 12 years jatra of Nyata Maru Ajima Pahacharhe is one of the most important festival of Kathmandu. People worship to protector goddesses.Many Hindu temples in Kathmandu are centuries old and of great importance to Hindus. The Pashupatinath, Changu Narayan and the Kasthamandap temples are of particular importance for the capital of Nepal.
