Dear NOA friends, families, and community members:
The Newah Organization of America (NOA) cordially invites you to a unique cultural and religious event, the Sri Swasthani Brata Samapan (Closing Ceremony) in the greater Baltimore–Washington metropolitan area. This exciting puja is being performed by Newah Priest Mr. Basav Rajopadhyay for the second time in the United States, in the traditional way like in Salinadi of Sankhu.
Please join us to make this a great community gathering!
Date: Sunday, February 24, 2013Time: 12:00– 4:00PMVenue: Greater Baltimore Hindu Temple, 2909 Bloom Road, Finksburg, MD 21048
The cost to sit in the puja is $30.00 per person or $50:00 per couple, which covers your prasad as well as the venue and priest fees. The puja starts promptly at noon and will last for about 3 hours so please be sure to arrive 30 minutes ahead of scheduled time. This is one of our most special rituals—come to be rewarded by Goddess Sri Swasthani for your dedication and worship! Any generous individual who would like to make a financial contribution to the puja should contact NOA Treasurer Mr. Ram Lal Shrestha at 240-581-0078.
