TAT to promote Khao Yai, luxury products in India

In a bid to expand its portfolio of tourism offerings, the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) will promote Khao Yai in the Indian market. Situated 175 km southwest of Bangkok, Khao Yai is Thailand’s third-largest national park and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This information was revealed at the TAT South Asia Regional Meeting held recently in New Delhi. The meet was attended by Sansern Nagaorungsi, Deputy Governor - Asia and South Pacific Market, Tourism Authority of Thailand; Runjuan Tongrut, Director - North & East India, Bangladesh, Butan and Nepal, Tourism Authority of Thailand; Sethaphan Buddhani, Director - TAT Mumbai Office, and fourteen key TAT officials from seven countries. The main objective of the meet was to decide future strategies to promote Thailand as a tourist destination in the South Asia market.
