KATHMANDU, OCT 03 -
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Narayan Kaji Shrestha met with United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon on Wenesday.
During the meeting, DPM Shrestha briefed Ban on Nepal's political development .
Ban expressed concern about the peace process and country’spolitical development . In reply, Shrestha briefed him about the achievements in the peace process and political development s after the dissolution of Constituent Assembly. He also informed Ban about the attempts being made to forge consensus among the parties for new CA election. Shrestha thanked Ban for the role played by the UN in Nepal's peace process .
Shrestha is in New York to participate in the 67th session of the UN General Assembly .
